Red Mountain Racers is passionate about developing the best possible ski program for all of our athletes. RMR is a volunteer-run organization.  The help of many hands – our parents and our community – is what makes us a success. Volunteering is a cornerstone to our club. There are many opportunities to become engaged.  Whether you ski or not, you have skills you can offer the club and fulfill your volunteer hours.

While volunteering is important to being able to run our club, it is also an opportunity to make YOU part of the action. It is rewarding in itself, and whether on hill or working behind the scenes, you will be involved with a fantastic group of passionate people.

Below is a chart to help you understand where the funding for our programs comes from and how important your volunteer time is. A significant portion of our revenue is generated by our many fundraisers as well as by hosting races at Red Mountain Resort. ALL of these events are run entirely by volunteers. We require the support of all of our members to ensure we can continue to run these events and in turn, maintain reasonable membership fees. Keeping our fees affordable is important to us, and volunteering means keeping money in your pocket!
