Register for the 2026/27 Season
Welcome to Red Mountain Racers!
Registration for the 2026/27 season is a two-step process for all RMR families.
Step 1: Register each athlete with Spond for club and program communications.
Step 2: Complete RMR program registration, BC Alpine/Alpine Canada membership and insurance.
Please complete both steps for each athlete in your family.

Before You Register – Volunteer Commitment
Red Mountain Racers is a volunteer-driven club. The time our families contribute helps us run races and events, support our programs, and keep the cost of ski racing as manageable as possible.
For the 2026/27 season, the family volunteer commitment is:
- Nancy Greene: 20 hours per family (Tail gunning your racers group counts toward this).
- U12–U16 Competitive: 40 hours per family
- FIS: 40 hours per family
The requirement is per family, not per athlete. Families with more than one athlete are responsible only for the highest applicable requirement.
Families should review the RMR Family Volunteer Policy before registering for the season. It explains qualifying volunteer activities, race-day expectations, how to record your hours and other important details.
Step 1 – Register Each Athlete with Spond
RMR will be using Spond for timely program communication and day-to-day updates throughout the season. Email will continue to be used for weekly plans, longer-term information, and other important club and program communications.
Register each athlete in your family separately in Spond.
The Spond registration page includes instructions for adding parents/guardians, additional contacts and, where appropriate, an athlete’s own contact information.
Once your registration is approved, we recommend downloading the Spond app on your mobile device.
Step 2 – Complete RMR Program & BC Alpine Registration
Each athlete must also be registered through the RMR online registration system.
This is where you will:
- Complete BC Alpine/Alpine Canada membership and insurance
- Select your athlete’s RMR program
- Register parents/guardians as General Members or Coaches, as applicable
- Sign required waivers
When you enter the registration system, follow the instructions provided to add your family members, complete the appropriate BC Alpine registrations and select your RMR programs.

Choosing Your Program
Nancy Greene Ski League (NGSL)
Born 2013–2020
The Nancy Greene Ski League is where young skiers develop their skills, build confidence and discover a lifelong passion for skiing. The program begins in January 2027.
Select the Entry League / Nancy Greene registration type.
Most racers will select the regular Nancy Greene program. U10 and U12 NGSL racers can also choose Nancy Greene + Fridays for two days per week during the 10-week program.
U12 Competitive
Born 2015–2016
The U12 Competitive Program is designed for athletes who are developmentally ready for additional focused time on snow. The program begins in December 2026.
Select the Entry League U12 Competitive registration type and choose either the 2-day or 3-day RMR program.
U14, U16 & FIS
Born 2014 and earlier
Athletes must have an active National Competitor Card or FIS licence for the 2026/27 season before participating in dryland activities.
Registration for RMR 2-day, 3-day and 4-day programs opens September 19. FIS racers must select the 4-day FIS-only option.
These programs begin in November with pre-season camps. Registering early helps RMR plan and hire the appropriate number of coaches.
